Dr. Amanda Woods
I’ve always cared deeply about mental health and about finding ways to truly support people. I earned my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University Honors College and my PhD from Georgia State University. I have spent over 10 years researching, teaching, and building my skills as a therapist. My training continued at Emory School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where I completed both my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship.

In 2011, I opened my private practice, and I’ve been grateful to serve this community ever since. I also stay connected to the academic world as an adjunct faculty member at Emory University, where I supervise psychiatry residents in training.

Outside of work, I value time with family and friends and a love for animals. Most of all, I want to make sure you feel supported and cared for, so if I’m not the right fit, I’ll help connect you with someone who is.
